Science in the van

Today we had a visit from the awesome people from ‘Science in a Van’. The morning started with some fun science tricks like  pulling a table cloth off the table without the cups on top falling off. They used pull force to do this.
The next trick was using a no friction swinging board with cups of water on it, 1 then 3, the guy swung the board with the water on it around and around without the water spilling - this was an example of pull force

I learnt that there are 3 states of matter
  1. Solid
  2. Liquid
  3. Gas

I also learnt… that polymer can  suck  your liquid
Another cool thing I learnt was…   do not put  dry ice in a sealed container because it  explode
I had a really great time watching ‘Science in a Van’. I learnt lots of new, interesting, information about states of matter and I would highly recommend it to anyone else who had the opportunity to watch it.

Complicated  and fun
